vivitar 949hd
My sister-in-law saw this on clearance for $49.00 and was wondering if it would take decent video.
I'm not fond of the fact that it uses AAA batteries, but she said that she has had still cameras that used them and had no problems.

Re: Is this camera any good? There are only 5 Amazon reviews but they are all 1 star, that's really bad
http://www.amazon.com/VIVITAR-MegaPixel ... B0084L9ZVM The common theme is "Horrible" ! 1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.
2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.
Re: Is this camera any good?I told her about those, but she bought it.
I told her it would be better to get something like a Cybershot that records video. She replied that her current camera (don't know the model, but it takes great stills) does take video, but she didn't know how to do that. I suggested that she learn. I think she will return the video camera and look at her point and shoot camera manual.
