..wondering, amongst heavy users, to do animated tidbits, for instance in Movie Studio 13, what app (Such as Flash) does one use?

What specific kinds of animation are you going to do, Buddy?

Animated titles? Animated graphics and clip art? Whole animated sequences?

Animated graphics and clipart. If I can ever get Titler functioning properly it should do what I need with titles.

Buddy,

If you are going to use in video projects then key framing is the easiest way to go. This would be used in combination with Photoshop to do some edits to the images before key framing them in your video editor. The pros use After effects to do this but that is a beast unto itself.

The cartoon-like clip art that comes with Premiere Elements (under the Graphics button) is mostly created Flash and is saved as .swf files. And THAT can be a beast unto itself too!

So I guess it depends on what type of animations you're specifically trying to create -- and how deeply you want to dig into these higher-level programs!

When I get to a certain point I will probably do Flash, or even HitFilm. I need to learn the KeyFraming really well first. Thanks for the knowledgeable input.
