Dave this sounds really cool but a word of caution based on my own experience.

I have a subscription to Epidemic Sound that I use for some different audio. The contend is setup that you can use the audio tracks in your videos which I did. Two of the videos I posted to Vimeo and thought nothing of it. A month or so later I get this notice from Vimeo saying my account has a strike against it and the videos were blocked because of copyright infringement. It took a bit but I had to contact Vimeo and provide my subscription and the song title and author I used. After a week or so the rescinded the strike and I was ok. Not ever clear why this popped up but it was a bit unsetteling.

So whatever the BBC rules are make sure you follow them specifically to their parameters.

Point well taken. Since these are not a subscription service, and are offered for free use, I assume that so long as one stays in the confines of the terms as defined, it shouldn't be an issue. Maybe I'm wrong, but I also suspect that a sound effect would be less likely to draw scrutiny than music would.
