"Better" is a pretty relative term. It all depends on your workflow and which interface you're most comfortable with.

By what criteria do you judge "better"?

Hi Steve,

Guy, I love your tutorial on PE 15! They are pretty awesome.

I learned to edit on AVID.. I love it BUT I don't want to put invest in a machine strong enough to run it right now. I learned a little about PP CC but I don't want the monthly subscription. I'm saving for better cameras. \:D/

I like the features of PP CC because it allowed plugins and had Audition. PE 15 has audio effects built in but no where near Audition. Strange that they won't allow PE 15 users access to it.

Sony has better sound and accept lots of plugins, correct? I'm looking for long term flexibility. That said, I learned tons from you about PE 15 but I want to pick one that is the best investment in time in the long run.

Hello oba888 and welcome to Muvipix. :meet:

For audio, Audacity is quite useful. Not as fully featured as Audition but it has the advantage of being free (love that word) and it might fulfill your requirements for the time being. :-D
