CD/DVD/Copying software

Postby Clayton » Mon Jan 19, 2009 12:17 pm

SInce I built my new machine, I have not had occassion to burn a cd/dvd or copy anything except recently a video thru encore. I wanted to transfer some photos to a cd and found I didn't have anything to do it with (at least I can't find anything). I thought I used to just right click on the drive with the cd in it and had an option to format the disc. Doesn't appear though. I guess my older computer from Dell had software loaded to do this. Anyway I need to get something to be able to do these simple tasks. Does imgburn do this for me or do I need Nero or Roxio. (or is it already there for my use but I just can't find it.)? Also I was thinking about buyind DVD Architect Studio. Would this take care of my burning needs.

Imgburn does this, I believe, and it's free.

I use ImgBurn for all my burning. It works well, and they have a good Guide and FAQ on their forum:

Thanks, Steve and Peru. I thought it would, just not sure from their site.
