Main Menu vs. Sub Menu

Postby momoffduty » Thu Sep 18, 2008 8:32 am

Saw a pro made school DVD with one menu with an option to choose one of the 3 segments. No play all button, but if you chose the top segment would lead into the others.

Is this common to have only a sub menu? Would like some thoughts and opinions.

Thanks.

I think it would be good to offer the more detailed menus as options.

For the wedding DVDs that I do they get a main menu with 'Play All' and 'Chapters' buttons.
On the Chapter Menu they get 10 chapter buttons and a main menu button.

Chuck that's how I do mine also.
Main=play all and chapters
Sub menu=chapters(usually4) and return to main menu and sometimes a bonus scene and when bonus ends it returns to sub menu.
Thanks
