Modifying muvipix content

Postby videovillageidiot » Sun Aug 14, 2016 12:18 pm

I recently posted a question regarding muvipix downloadable content. Ron said it was ok to "tinker" with the backgrounds and suggested I post an example. I created this "quick & dirty" video to demonstrate a few things i have done. I'm sure this is nothing new to our many very experienced members, but, just in case some people hadn't thought of this...here it is.

OK...actually, i haven't put anything in the gallery for YEARS and i'm no longer sure how to link to it. Hmmmm...also when i try to play it in my album i get a plugin not supported message...hmmmmmmm...

i gotta' leave for awhile so i guess i'll get back to this later.

If anyone has any tips on how to get it to work, i'll check when i get back.

Thanks!

WMV is one of those tough formats these days, not all browsers have plug ins that support it anymore. These days it's better to upload to YouTube or Vimeo and post the link, works every time :)

This is great Sherrin, thanks for sharing with us. Love to see what people do with the stuff you can download from Muvipix :TU:
1. Thinkpad W530 Laptop, Core i7-3820QM Processor 8M Cache 3.70 GHz, 16 GB DDR3, NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 2GB Memory.

2. Cybertron PC - Liquid Cooled AMD FX6300, 6 cores, 3.50ghz - 32GB DDR3 - MSI GeForce GTX 960 Gaming 4G, 4GB Video Ram, 1024 Cuda Cores.

Playing with keyframing like that is always fun. Very nice.

Thanks Chuck - I put it on Youtube at https://youtu.be/qoo6z__PVXA - i hope that works.
I think i just accidentally came up with the idea of modifying the gliding star a few years back and thought - what a great find! I can just picture Cheryl using a gliding star that changes color as it moves across a triptych of her 3 adorable granddaughters!

Thanks! There are so many great items in the download area - but sometimes not the color I'd like...NO PROBLEM!!

Thanks Dave...I love what keyframing can do...except when i get some of those disconnected keyframes when i cut a clip...I have to train myself to check for keyframes before i use that scissors... ](*,)
