Have you tried what we recommended in our tutorial?
http://muvipix.com/products.php?searchp ... =0&btn.y=0

I've never had any problems downloading it from ImgBurn.com -- although I have heard of some antivirus programs triggering a false malware report on this site.

The site is safe, as is the program, if you follow the steps we recommend to install it.

In addition:

Download the installation file, but don't install it until you disconnect from the internet. This will prevent the OpenCandy PUP from installing any unwanted junk. You can reconnect to the internet after it is fully installed.

The same procedure should be followed for updating to a new version. It used to not install the OpenCandy on upgrades, but now it treats upgrades as a new installation, so you have to treat it like one to avoid the actions of OpenCandy.

While I still recommend ImgBurn, I no longer recommend getting it from the author's website. I'd recommend using File Hippo to do the download.

The current version of Imgburn (2.5.8.0) uses Open Candy in the installer and is set by default to install other software along with Imgburn. Imgburn 2.5.8.0 is safe provided you don't accept any default or express installation options and explicitly opt out of each of the so called offers.

If the current version is rejected or blocked by your antivirus software, try downloading the previous version. On the File Hippo site, the older versions will be listed on the right side of the page. version 2.5.7.0 should be fine. The older versions do not contain Open Candy in the installer. The installer will still ask you to install other things such as the Ask Toolbar for example. Be sure to read the options presented by the installer carefully and opt out of everything except Imgburn.
