Changing colors of GIF files

Postby bgsnmky » Fri Apr 13, 2007 10:13 pm

I am trying to change colors of a gif files for a web page. I have tried using the color changing tool and used help and another on-line help and it doesn't seem to be working.

Basically it is a gif file with two colors. One color with white words.

Any help would be appreciated. Apparently it is supposed to be REALLY easy...like only minutes.

Thanks!

I forgot..I have elements 5.0

With solid colours the easiest thing to do is use the magic wand tool. to select the colour, then use the colour picker to load your colour as the foreground colour and then hit ATL+Backspace.

If you don't know what colour you want you can use the Hue/Saturation Dialog to control the colour.
