Hi,
I read some of the posts again and noticed that I was still running the older version of your actions from V6. Just did a fresh install of the latest for V7 and opened some files. All appears to be well.

A side note-
V6 'seemed' to work okay in V7 as is,...tho there did exist some little burps sometimes. I did know to put the files in a slightly different location as well as mixing the .xml, atn and png files under one roof.
Redefining the correct files/thumbnails into the correct dir's smoothed things out nicely.

Really appreciate having extended useful features 'back' in my PS, so thank you very much for your effort and your sharing.

I have just uploaded a set of 4 actions to create layer masks in Photoshop Elements versions 2 through 6. .... So, are there any brave souls that would like to try them out and give me feedback? All comments are welcome.

I will try them ASAP.

BTW, to install them I did need to rebuild the database--happily, the 100s of free layer styles are still there, but the "lost" photoshop.com Content that I paid for is still AWOL. That doesn't bother me much, though, as the styles I just acquired are much nicer than those I lost.

Thanks for supplying the masks.
