Guided Edits Missing

Postby kenskopp » Mon Nov 04, 2019 4:24 pm

Hi,

I am using PSE2018. Two days ago I went to edit a photo with PSE Editor. The Guided Edits did not appear and under Quick no options appeared on the right of the screen. Also, There has been a delay in staring the editor with a window appearing that says: "Building Content and Effects" What is up? I am thinking of uninstalling PSE2018 and reinstalling it. Any suggestions?

A reinstall is definitely in order.

It's probably no coincidence that Windows just released a new build.

Hi Steve,

You were right. I reinstalled PSE & PRE 2018 and they work again. Does PSE & PRE 2020 work better with Windows 10? I don't necessarily get each upgrade. I have not been real pleased with the slide show changes rom "15" version. I will upgrade if you say new version works better with Win 10. I notice that my current version loads slow and sometimes when I try creating slide shows my computer will freeze.

Thanks Ken

The only reason to upgrade is if you want the new features.

The basic performance of the program is no different in version 2020.
