Remove Reflection

Postby Ron » Sun Oct 21, 2018 9:32 am

Good morning, Peeps.

Any ideas or techniques that I could use to get rid of the reflection in this image? I currently have Photoshop 15.

Did you try 'Content Aware Fill'?

Whatever route you go it is going to take awhile. The clone tool might help as well.

I used the clone stamp. Not the best, but you could say you flew thru a cloud

Hey Cheryl, thank you!!! That was my issue as well... couldn't figure out how to transition that blue water with the shadowed water. Looks like you did it nicely!

Thanks for your time on this :)

You are welcome Ron :) After the clone stamp work, a few adjustment layers to gradually transition from dark water to light. Get the adjustment you want and then invert it's mask & paint in the desired amount. Maybe play with the blend modes. The same could be done on the trees for contrast & saturation. Nice view!
