Hiya! From the middle of the US!

Postby Josh1971 » Mon Apr 25, 2011 8:13 pm

Hi all!

Found this site while researching free/good stock footage, and it looked so good I decided to stick around! I'm no stranger to internet forums, but mainly what I like to do is make movies. My group and I just completed a 25th anniversary retrospective comedy project which we are screening for family and friends this coming weekend, and I'm completely stoked about that.

Plans are to follow it up with a couple more 60 minute sketch comedy specials, but I'd be happy if I was making some kind of movie every day of my life. For now, I'm using a Panasonic DVX-100B with about 200 extra things, and editing in Adobe Premiere. Wanting to upgrade to the Panasonic HVX-200 at some point, but I doubt I'll switch from Premiere.

Despite all the comedy we're doing, my real love is horror movies- especially old ones.

So hello! And hope to become a valuable member of the community here!

Josh

Hi Josh, and welcome to Muvipix! :wcm:
If you like movies you're definitely in the right place. It sounds like you'll have plenty of your own experience to share. You're not anywhere near those world-famous Decorah, IA, bald eagles are you?
Be yourself; everyone else is taken.
