Hi, my name is Gerlinde. I'm German as you may guess by my name. I have lived in San Diego, CA for the last 17 years and I'm not planing on leaving any time soon. I have to kids ( both grownups ) and 2 granddaughters, ages 5 and 7. My main purpose in life is to film and take all the pictures I can get of those two and transform the material into video clips to watch for all the family and friends in Germany. Besides doing that, I have a day time job to go to. I'm a research scientist and work for a biotech company.
I use PE since version 1 and have currently version 3. Thanks to the absolutely incredible forum on the Adobe site, Video in a Snap, Chuck Engels.com and now muvipix I am now able to use the program efficiently. Everybody loves my movies, although I'm not doing any fancy stuff. Just a combination of video, slide show and music and I try to tell a story.

I would like to echo Clayton's welcome Gerlinde :)

Telling a story is the most important part of any video production, no matter how big or small. Making people happy with what you create is a huge joy I'm sure, it definitely is for me. Thanks for being such an active member, always glad to hear from you!
