Hello all, I just found this forum and have enjoyed all the information.

I started making DVD form my kids weddings. Just the diapers to dating kind of stuff --- stills mixed with video clips. I have enjoyed seeing what others have made.

I started with Pinnacle and had some success but lots of frustrations too. I finally went over to Premiere Elements 3.0 (3.0.2) when for some reason Pinnacle stopped caputuring text. I have enjoyed learning PE3. I find it more flexible. The only frustration I have run into is not being able to lock the audio (or video) tracks. As I move the stills around it trashes the tracks... Still working through that one.

With all of the information here I hope to be a little more creative.

Thanks, I have already "stolen" some ideas from the stuff I have seen you guys (and gals) do. I almost completely redid the last Diapers to dating show I need to do for a wedding coming in a few days!!!

Wth PE, it was pretty easy to add the extra creatively to make a better show. Thanks for the ideas...

When things settle down, after the wedding this coming weekend, and after I figure it out, I'll try to post a sample of what I did.

Then it on to more projects with all the grandson footage we have been taking during his visit.
