Welcome... What part of England? Way back (way back) in the 80's, I was stationed there at near Reading and Newbury - We lived near Wantage in Sanford in the Vale. A lovely little town with a 400 y/o Pub.

I loved it. Just do happens I spend last wweekend converting home movies from that era from VHS to DVDs.

Glad you found us.

Donna, nice and cool!!! In the words of John McEnroe "You cannot be serious"

I am back in the UK for a few days. When I left Sicily it was 36C; I arrived in the UK to 16C and rain. Trust me, that (for summer) isn't nice and cool; it is cold and wet! :-D

I lucked out on the weather when I was there. Arrived in the spring and all the town folk told me about the bad weather and they said just wait. We had two great summers and winters... Now the last winter, that was BAD...

But our family loved it in England, its a great place!!!
