A place to introduce and tell a little about yourself.

Hello my name is Bruce and I'm a multi-media-oholic ("hello Bruce!" from everyone in the background). All joking aside... I am addicted to programming and playing at being a videoagrapher. This is a great site. Thanks for allowing me in and I hope I can contribute in some way. Thanks again!

Second Bruce: G'day, Bruce!
First Bruce: Oh, Hello Bruce!
Third Bruce: How are you Bruce?
First Bruce: A bit crook, Bruce.
Second Bruce: Where's Bruce?
First Bruce: He's not 'ere, Bruce.
Third Bruce: Blimey, it's hot in here, Bruce.
First Bruce: Hot enough to boil a monkey's bum!
Second Bruce: That's a strange expression, Bruce.
First Bruce: Well Bruce, I heard the Prime Minister use it. "It's hot enough to boil a monkey's bum in here, your Majesty," he said and she smiled quietly to herself.
Welcome to the club!

But Bruce may not be Australian, or have attended the University of Woolloomooloo (Woolloomooloo is a suburb in Sydney, unfortunately there is no University by that name). (Reference to the Bruces' sketch above). The two closest universities to Woolloomooloo, Sydney are the University of New South Wales (NSW) and the University of Sydney, both in Sydney. My honours supervisor when I was at the University of New South Wales, was incidentally called Bruce. Robyn (from Queanbeyan, NSW, Australia)

'Ello and G'day, mate! Actually, I'm not Australian either, but I am a big Monty Python fan... and my best friend from high school was stationed in Oz for a while at the US embassy in Canberra, so I've heard a lot about the area. I do plan to get down there one of these days when I can afford the plane ticket!

Hi Jack, Yes, last night I made a comment to "Two-sheds" to ask him whether he has got his other shed yet. Another Monty Python sketch and yes I am a fan of their work. http://muvipix.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1642&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&start=15And I also agree with your comments about Nature videos, not too many fancy effects. I might like to try a couple of transparent type things, like what I was wondering with my comment about putting snakes on a map (see the post in the line above). The U.S. Embassy now has the biggest fence and security around it in Canberra, not like the old days. At least the Beijing Olympic torch relay went off reasonably well in Canberra a few weeks ago. I did not go, but my partner Leo did, and it was fine. Most U.S. people are very impressed with the bird-life we have here, and I suppose all the Kangaroos you get around the area. There is a big kangaroo cull going on here at the moment in the middle of Canberra which has caused a lot of fuss. I think it even made some international news. P.S. I have been feeling quite old lately. Still no grey hairs yet, well maybe the odd one or two, but that's about it. Regards, Robyn
