Thanks Jayell, we are really excited about this relationship :TU:

I have been taking training courses at Lynda.com for the past 3 years (mostly programming and web development).
But I've just recently started looking at the After Effects tutorials by Chad Perkins, they are amazing.

For basic instruction on how to use a program they do a wonderful job. Some of the tutorials include Beyond the Basics instruction that gets a lot deeper into the program, those are very good. For $25 it is a great resource, I have a premium subscription at work so we have access to the exercise files too :)

They have instructional tutorials on all Adobe products, many Microsoft products, and many more. It's not just video and photography, they offer instruction on many different applications and areas of interest.

One thing that we offer here and Lynda does not, you can't download the tutorials at Lynda.com and watch them anytime :( But at Muvipix you can :)

=D> Way to go Jayell, you won't be sorry that's for sure :)

For anyone that is interested they have a free trial (7 days I think).
Also, every course has a number of free tutorials so you can see what they have to offer.

Here are some great Lynda.com courses on general computer knowledge.

Courses for learning Windows 7 and moving from Windows XP to Windows 7.
This includes a Computer literacy course, very nice if you want to know more about computers in general.

I found the Windows 7 tutorial very help. I actually took it BEFORE I bought the new 'puter. Now I have to learn all the new Office stuff. I wasn't familiar with the 'ribbon' .. and that has everything in a new place, which has been really frustrating.
What's interesting is that by taking all the Office tutorials, I figured I'm probably learning stuff that's been there for many years, but I never made use of it, so forgot it was available. So figured I better get a yearly subscription with all the great stuff they have to offer.

Lynda has just released their training series for PrEl 10. I know it can't hold a candle to what you get here, but for those who like to have many inputs....
