Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays gang! Watched the Grinch with the kids the other day! Our 2 year old (almost 3) thought the Grinch was "kinda a mean Grinch"

Thank you so much for sharing that Chuck. It brought me to tears. I have signed it in the past and it is so beautiful. To me, I can feel every emotion in that song. I had thought about signing it and posting it here, but that can't be beat. Is that your church?

That was from the Christmas Festival at our church in 2005, it has doubled since then (now 12,000 members and a 4500 seat sanctuary).
The girl that is singing (Gretchen) is still on the Praise Team and sounds as beautiful as ever :)

You have some talent in your church. She does have a beautiful voice and the girl doing the dancing is so graceful and apparently has listened for her calling. I am assuming this is a non denominational churh?? I love the praise and worship there. Due to some accountability issues in a former church we went to, we ended up joining a Baptist church. It is more contemporary and the pastor has a great message every week. I do miss the praise and worship. There is nothing like it,

You would think it was non denominational, but it is a Church of God.
This is one of the more contemporary Church of God churches I have seen though.
If you are familiar with Jentzen Franklin it is the same denomination as his church.
He has a 20,000+ membership in Gainsville, Georgia and is quite popular on Christian television.
We like him a lot, there is also someone we admire in your area (somewhere in Texas), you may know him also Ed Young.

Hey, I almost missed this topic. I don't monitor them all, but it looks like I have a least a few minutes left to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I'm glad so many here remember the Reason for the season. May each of you be enriched in your inward man. O:)

Chuck, very familar with Ed Young (Second Baptist in Houston). If I am ever in your area, I will visit your church. I like to visit as I travel. Went to Saddleback (Rick Warren in 2000). Visited Flamingo road in Ft. Lauderdale in 2003. I love to see what the Mega churches and many of the smaller ones also are doing.

I am familiar with Ed Young. I also like to listen to Joel Osteen. I need to go to the links you sent me to listen to the Wed. services at your church. I don't go to church on Wed. nights because the girls are usually in bed by 7 pm.

Thanks Chuck, I will have to tune in. We don't really go anywhere on New Years Eve as there are too many drunks on the roads.
