Really nice job. Did you know what you were going to do with the shots of the finger waving ahead of time (why you shot it) or was it something you found when you went to edit? Either way great stuff.

PS what's the music called? cool for editing to the beat (wasn't it also the xmas light show that was going round the Internet.)

The "finger waving" was planned. It is supposed to simulate playing a drum to go with the music. (I play drums and tend to key on things like that, sometimes, folks don't get it though)

The music is "Wizards In Winter" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. And yes, it is the one used for Christmas light shows I've seen on the internet. Besides just plain ol' liking the song, I thought it was an especially good one to "edit to the beat". I was just getting the hang of keyframing photos when I made this, it was fun.

Oh, Clayton... No, no helment-cam involved. I just held the camcorder out in front of me with the viewscreen open. I had however, skied that route several times prior to videotaping and so was familier with the course. I think at one point you can even see me holding the camera in my shadow.

After being disappointed with the quality on YouTube, I set up a gallery here and posted the video with much better results. In fact, I think I'll yank it off YouTube since it looks better here, I mainly just wanted to share it with ya'll anyway. However, sometimes it seems to have intermittent pauses when playing back - don't know if it's my machine playing it or that's the way it was made. Anyway, here it is after re-tweaking -
