Michael Flatley has nothing...

Postby bry_man » Wed May 10, 2017 2:28 am

nothing to special about this clip, a very small edit, speed etc... could have done loads better really but i didn't want to take away the comical side....so left some natural shorts which meant it was slightly out of sync with music.....

Funny idea! I dance kind of like he does, only not as well ;) . I'd edit that down to about 20 or 30 seconds.

If I recall correctly Dave that was the same interpretive dance you did for the big MUVIPIX 5 Year Anniversary Awards Gala dinner we held in Morocco. I remember the Moroccan authorities commenting how light on your feet you were that night. :)

Ah, yes! That beautiful warm night in Marrakech...
But I believe I was on my 3rd absinthe and well lubricated. The joints move better when I'm not feeling the arthritis. I did impress them that night, didn't I? And then there were those three young dancing ladies who joined me...
But I digress.

I am surprised you remember those dancing ladies you were so focused on dancing. and there were actually 4 not 3 ladies. The 4th was called away mid dance to help cut the cake for everyone. The joke that night was that they were calling you Fred with the 3 Gingers.... Good Times..

Yes, good times. We Muvipixers sure do know how to throw a party. I also remember how nice it was to have the use of the corporate jet instead of flying commercial. Steve and Chuck spare no expense.

When those guys said that they would make is special they really meant it. The goodies bag was outrageous and the Limo ride to the airport blew me away. I remember that I kept asking Steve Chuck and Ron if I could go home because I did not know the event was supposed to be a week long event. Wow those were the days. Remember when they awarded Mom that complete editing bay Red Camera.... I knew I should have tried to learn After Effects....

Bry, super cute idea!

Dave, I looked through my archives and sorry no footage of your footage work. Must have been one of those times I forgot to take the lens cap off or hit record.

I recently had a chance to speak with Mr Dad and I asked him straight up..... what is with the feet? Mr Dad said that growing up Mom's local library only had one book to read. A nice book by Dr Seuss, but you can now see where the inspiration comes from.... :)
