The sea at morning from Rabindranath Tagore

Postby Francesco Carzedda » Fri Oct 09, 2015 1:30 pm

Dear Muvipix friends,

I am happy to share the visual comment to my own reading of a great poem by Rabindranath Tagore.

The sea at morning brought me three wonderful gifts:

a song

a dance

a flight .

I immediately wished to made a present of them to my wife,
who was at home waiting for my return.

She was playing, bathing and plucking off the petals of a flower,
she looked very indifferent to my gifts as they were only dreams and visions,
the didn't have any economic value neither did I conquered them fighting and winning.

I felt so ashamed that I left them all behind me on my road,
at night,
but travellers from every country picked them and shared them all around the world.

I hope you'll like it

Francesco that was a very nice video I am glad you shared it. The editing was especially nice and I had to go back a couple of times to catch things I missed. I liked how it went from the birds on the wire which looked like a sheet of music to the rocks on the music paper that was a nice touch. I also liked the water shots. Very well done.

Wonderful idea, Francesco. I'd love to come. All I have to do is get healthy and win the lottery. Unfortunately, neither is very likely! :-({|=

Especially since I don't play the lotto!

Wow Francesco, there is a lot going on there. How long did that take you to edit and how much footage did you have to work with? Makes me want to visit, where exactly was all of that shot?

Chuck, thanks, it was all shot near here:

A very small village but with a lot of natural events to watch: on the beach, in the pinewood, on the wires... silence is a great accomplice too :-D !
