Coffee

Postby Ron Hunter » Mon Jan 19, 2015 7:38 am

Yesterday I made a video that shows how I make coffee using a dripper. Simple project, it went well and I like how it turned out. It would have been nice if I had a telephoto lens to get a closeup of the coffee, but I did the best I could with a tripod and creative positioning.

Let me know what you think of this:
Desktop: HPE-580T, i7-950 (3.07GHz), 16GB RAM, Win'7 64-bit Home Premium, PSE12/PRE12, Lightroom 5.
Laptop: MacBook Pro (retina), 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, Final Cut Pro X, Motion 5.
Cameras (in use): Panasonic GH4/Canon HFR400/Canon HV30, GoPro HD Hero2.

Very nice, piece, Ron! I love the music, and the composition of each shot is terrific.

I especially like the random Santa Claus in the cupboard with the coffee!

The different angle shots adds a lot of interest to the video. Color and white balance looked good too. :-D I think that Santa would scare me first thing in the morning! How long do you have to wait for the coffee? When you got water from the fridge I thought of that new fridge out that has a built in coffee maker.

Looks delicious! Made my mouth water, in fact. Love the way the cream swirls in and the sunlight coming across.

I just shook the LAST drop of coffee out of my thermos! One more cup! :exc:

I love using the dripper method, wish I would have done this years ago. It's less mess than any other method I've tried and I can make the coffee as strong as I want. Takes about 3 minutes for the kettle to get hot and another 3 minutes for brewing.

I liked the video Ron. I happen to be drinking my own coffee as I was watching so I felt like I joined you for a cup. The only thing missing was being able to smell the coffee scent in the room. :)

A nice 'Day in the Life Of' and so quietly, smoothly put together as the vid transitioned from scene to scene. The cream being added to the coffee, the colors and swirls. Nice visual.

Saw this on the Telly yesterday and it reminded me of our coffee videos.
