Carini Procession - Encore!

Postby John 'twosheds' McDonald » Mon Oct 13, 2014 4:14 am

Driving home at 22.45 I was stopped by the police in Carini town centre as yet another! religious procession was about to pass immediately in front of me. Being totally unprepared camera-wise, as usual, I took this video on my Samsung S4 mobile. So totally unplanned and very much a "grabbed opportunity".

Notice the two/three year old little boy being carried on the platform.

It's nice to have phone video ability so close at hand these days. We take it for granted, but for those of us who didn't grow up with it it's really pretty amazing.

John that was pretty cool. Also impressive was even in low light the phone camera did not do too bad of a job. I did a Google search and the tow is very beautiful. Sounds like we need to get a kickstarter program going to send a quad copter over there so you can get some aerial shots of the place.

Thanks for posting John! I enjoyed the music and looks like great atmosphere. The phone camera did a good job in the low light. I got a smart phone last spring and gave up my trusty 13yo purple flip. The battery wouldn't charge and I got tired of being ribbed by the younger bunch in our family. Now, if I can just remember to use the video function more!
