Clouds timelapse

Postby Ron Hunter » Wed May 28, 2014 7:09 am

Here is a timelapse of clouds I created this weekend. I used a 2 second interval and let the camera run for a little over 2 hours. This timelapse plays back the clips at 24fps, and I think the slow dreamy feel looks pretty good (30fps would just speed it up).

I used Lightroom to make the colors more intense. And thanks to Bob for sharing a better way to import a large photo sequence into Premiere Elements!

Please let me know what you think of this video:

Cameras (in use): Panasonic GH4/Canon HFR400/Canon HV30, GoPro HD Hero2.

Very nice, Ron! I could use it for a relaxation video!

Thanks Steve, I can too! Do you think the video is a tad too long? I'm always worried about making my videos too long.

I think 3 minutes is just about the perfect length for a video -- just like a rock & roll song!

I liked the super saturated sky. Very peaceful.
