This is another star timelapse, but here you can see the stars rotate around Polaris, the "North Star". This timelapse represents 9.5hrs. 1133 images comprise the timelapse:

- Lightroom 5 used for batch editing and resizing (long edge 2000 pixels)
- PRE12 was used for editing. 1 picture per frame, 24fps output.

Very cool, and very well done. :TU: So from this we now have proof that the entire universe orbits around the north star.

Thanks everyone! Yes this is my work. I thought it would be cool to see how the stars seemed to rotate around Polaris. It's hard to comprehend that is is US that are moving, not the stars.

The photos were fine out of the camera, but Lightroom REALLY made them pop. I just worked through Jan Kabili's LR course on Lynda and it was great. I waited until I finished her course before doing this timelapse, and I'm glad I did.

I actually used the camera's exposure meter with its recommendation for 6" exposure. It's too bad I ran out of night sky; when I watch the timelapse I find myself wanting to see more and then it ends.
