First Completed Project

Postby BuddyB » Sat Mar 08, 2014 5:52 pm

I want to upload my first completed project of about two minutes. It would not allow an MP4, so what format should I use, and how do I make sure the screen size is not overwhelming. Thanks.

Upload to VImeo or utube then use the embed code they give you and use the method shown on posts following this one: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5706

The embed tutorial doesn't seem to work for me but you can read the posts.

I'm not sure I understand everything yet, but I'm giving this a shot. I didn't see any embed codes anywhere. The link didn't work for me, no video.

The videos in that old post have since been removed.

To embed a video into your post:

For YouTube, you need the URL to the video. For Vimeo, you only need the ID. Then surround the line with the appropriate syntax using the buttons in the editor:

Code: Select all

Code: Select all
[Vimeo]4038064[/Vimeo] (number only, no url)

If you hover your mouse over the button using the editor, the text will indicate which option you need in case you forget.

I do appreciate the input. I'll try not to botch my next effort. My problem has always been in making things more difficult than they are.
