Titles Frames in Project Assets

Postby Tejano Bob » Mon May 02, 2022 3:18 pm

When I add titles using the titles menu, the titles show up in Project Assets as black frames with the titles. Are these frames useful for anything?

I'm not sure what frames you're talking about, Bob. Can you post a screen shot so we can see what you're describing?

You don't see these frames when you put the title on your timeline, do you?

This is probably only happening when the project somehow gets corrupted. The title frames that appear in Project Assets also appear on the Timeline, and the project becomes unusable. Incidentally, most of the projects I saved a long time ago have become corrupted, and I get a message that Premier Essentials cannot accept that format. Recent projects that I’ve saved seem to be OK. Thanks for your response.

You're not opening old projects with a new version of PrEl are you, Bob? Although it's sometimes possible, often that will have strange effects on the old project. The more years that there are between and old project and the newer version, the more likely this is to happen.

BTW, welcome to Muvipix! :wcm:
