New user and new member needs help

I am adding default text to a video clip. It basically refers viewers to a website for further information. However, the text does not stay visible for the length of time I would like? I have tried multiple ways to extend it but cannot figure it out. I was successful in extending the text box, but the text itself does not stay on screen any longer. If you could refer me to any tutorial or a previous post that would be perfect.
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Attached is the screenshot. The purple box Title 02 consists of default text announcing a website. However, it only stays on screen a fraction of the time I want it to. Also, I selected a simple fade in fade out.

Can you post a screenshot of your timeline?

I agree with Peru. We'll need to see a screenshot.

Also advise us if any fades or text animations have been applied.

Hmm. The screen shot doesn't really show us enough to know what's going on.

Toggle open the Video 2 track so we can see if any fades have been applied.

Also, please let us know if you've applied any text animations in the Title Adjustments workspace.
