Adding a speech bubble

Postby alan.crookston@sky.com » Thu Jun 24, 2021 6:52 am

Hi Steve,

Discovered you on youtube and I'm glad I did. It's been great following your tutorials and they have dealt with pretty much every problem I had with Premiere elements 21. Can I just ask one question. On the bottom right at the effects etc it shows a smiley face. When you open it it offers the chance to insert a speech bubble in your movie. I can add the bubble no problem. BUT!!! how the heck do you add text to it?? the bubble actually says add text but nothing happening when I click on it. I know there must be a simple solution. HELP !!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!! .

Cheers

Al

If you double-click on the speech bubble clip on your timeline, it will open like an editable title and you can customize the text any way you'd like.

Thanks, Alan. I actually show you how to do this step by step in my book. But it's really pretty much that simple.

In fact, when you add the clip to your timeline, you may even see an automatic pop-up box in which you can add custom text.
