Fuzzy text after rendering

Postby degreening » Fri Mar 19, 2021 12:57 pm

Hi. It was the 1st time I had done the rendering action in the timeline while still in the midst of working on the project. New territory.
Anyway, in the wake of it, the text showed up rather fuzzy, and not with the clarity that showed before rendering. Is this normal ? Might there have been something in the Text characteristics that I chose that predisposed to this. I'm hoping that when the project is ready for it's completion, that the text will look as it did pre rendering. Thoughts ? Hints ? Thanks

HI Degreening, This often has to do with the resolution of the media and project setting and how large text can be before it starts to pixelate or get fuzzy like in your image. It can also depend on the font as well. I'm sure that others will provide additional feedback but it would be good to know what your project settings are and what type and size media you are adding to the timeline.

It's just a preview, so it will likely look sharper when you output it. Meantime right click on the Monitor and select the option to set the quality of your preview to maximum. That will give you a cleaner looking preview.

But ultimately it won't affect how your final output will look. It's just a preview. And rendering your timeline just creates these previews so that the program doesn't waste resources constantly creating "soft renders".
