can someone guide me on the core requirements for premiere elements 2020 .Im considering a i7 processor model is that suitable ?

It should be. A lot depends on what type of video you're going to edit and how intense this editing will be.

But generally speaking, as long as your processor rates a 10,000 or above on this benchmark chart, you'll be fine.

12-16 gigs of RAM. At least 500 gigs of hard drive space. (Video eats drive space up quickly. I keep my video data on a 3 terrabyte external drive.)

Don't sweat the graphics card. Premiere Elements barely uses it. Put most of your money into a good processor.
