Timeline Issue

Postby Ric » Thu Apr 21, 2022 11:41 am

I was working on a short video and now all of a sudden my photos wont auto clip in teh timeline any more and don't know what I fit to make that change. When I would bring a photo in the timeline it would snap to the picture before it now it doesn't any ideas?

It sounds like you're concerned your clips aren't snapping together.

There are a couple of possible reasons:
1) You aren't placing the clips close enough together (though I assume you are)
2) You have video or audio clips on other tracks that your new clips are aligning with
3) The Timeline playhead is near where you are placing your clips and your clips are snapping to it rather than to the clips on your timeline

The snapping feature is not something that can be turned on or off, so it hasn't been disabled. It's likely one of those issues. If you'll post a screenshot of your timeline where you're having problems, we may be able to see what's interrupting the feature.

I fixed it. If you right click on the timeline and for some reason the snap button was unchecked. I must of done it placing pics on the timeline.
