Downtown

More camera experimentation. One of the things I am enjoying about the insta360 cameras is the ability to shoot in 5.7k 360 degree video then reframe to the desired output. From 16x9 to 9x16 1x1 and 4x3 all with only recording once.

In this video I tried the anamorphic setting of 2.35:1.

Growing next to the light rail train tracks amid the concrete and garbage, these trees are blossoming letting us know spring is on the way. The natural beauty juxtaposed with urban filth. Hope you enjoy it.

I do envy your having access to such great scenery -- but its your presenation that really makes it. Very nice work!

John that was pretty funny. In my case the pigeons flew away as I approached to record.

Thank you for the kind words Steve. Except of the trees the location is pretty un remarkable and has trash strewn about. I was actually on my way to record some of the various wall murals that are getting popular in the city, and this just caught my eye.

Beautiful! We have a Japanese garden in our city that sits in a not-so-wonderful part of town. In the spring the tree blossoms are beautiful. I went over there last year to do a little video but I was too late. Maybe this year.

Dave if you make it there in time to record I would love to see what you come up with. Spring always is my favorite time of year when it feels like Mother Nature is waking up.

Love the music and your video timing with the music Sidd. I would have probably focused on the trash if I was doing it :)

LOL John!

Ed that gives me an inspiration for a directors cut. Simply "Ed the retro"

Well by popular demand....... "For the Love of Garbage" the Ed Cut.... :hyst:

The fun thing with that 360 camera is the ability to reframe existing shots to look somewhere else. In true Ed fashion it is 4x3 black and white. movements are a bit off but the subject mater was not originally the trash
