Urban Aztec

In an effort to curb some of the tagging that happens, the city of San Jose commissions various art murals to cover some walls. What they found out is that the murals decrease the tagging as the taggers don't tag over the artwork, Of course the murals are subject to taste but I would prefer to see the artwork as opposed to the tagging. This mural was painted in an underpass downtown so I went to check it out. The area turned out to be very sketchy so I was not able to record as much video as I would have preferred. This is just a small short. The colors are really really vivid.

That's amazing. It seems like it would be such a complicated project. I can't imagine the time and effort. Nice job. Enjoyed the cuts to the music.

Thanks Dave, I thought the artwork is so vivid and intense. I learned that the artist who goes by the name Urban Aztec has painted a lot of murals in the bay area. All very colorful and detailed. Being under the bridge does not showcase how brilliant the mural is. Now if some of the other artwork is in a bit safer areas I might try to get some additional footage. Glad you liked it.
