FAUX Drone

One of my favorite places to record flowers and their bursts of color finally put up a "Drone Prohibited" sign much to my dismay. So I thought I would try to emulate the drone look with a super long monopod stick. Not really a drone but it was fun to record with it.

Most areas around here don't allow drones, plus the DC exclusion zone.

Same here. It is just not worth it to try and sneak around. We are close to a major airport and we live in the zone. Looks like it will get a workout when we go on vacation. No obstacles there.

Thank you. One of the reasons I have been using the 360 camera and the super long monopod. If I used a quadcopter I only like to be 30 feet off the ground anyway and this gets close to that feeling for me. Plus being 360 I can always reframe and get a decent looking shot. I just look like a maroon walking around with the giant stick but ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

I have been using the selfie stick so much that I have not used my drone in almost six months. I just look like goofball walking around with the giant stick.
