Project setting wrong fps

Postby John Walker » Sun Dec 22, 2019 5:12 pm

Hi all,

I've just completed a project that was recorded at 25fps. After saving as an ISO file and burning a disc, I noticed the quality wasn't my usual standard.

On checking, for some reason, the project setting is at 30fps. Usually the first clip sets the correct fps for the project.

So - any suggestions on what I can do to resolve the issue - without starting from scratch of course.

Cheers

John

You might try using Handbrake to see if you can resolve the fps issue.

Both of the camcorders listed in your profile are NTSC AVCHD cams. Where did your 25 fps video come from?

Are you on the American or European TV standard?

Hi Steve

Seasons Greetings to you.

I am on UK PAL with my cameras. The footage came from my Sony RX100 M6 set at 25fps.

Regards
John

Did you select UK as your country when you installed the program?

If you select the option to start a new project, which settings does it default to?
