Fade in/out has changed

Postby John Walker » Wed Feb 24, 2021 10:24 am

Hi everyone.

Until recently, if I right clicked on a title clip and chose FADE / FADE IN/OUT VIDEO. The clip would fade in, hold, then fade out at the end. Now it fades in but doesn't hold and gradually fades to the end of the clip. A sort of 'sawtooth' pattern.

I can't find where I set the preference to re-set the fade. I know I can manually adjust but it's a pain having to do it every time.

Any advice appreciated.

Can you post a picture of what you're seeing on the timeline, John?

Also, have you added any effects -- especially any time stretching -- which might affect the clip's keyframing? (I've found that Time Stretch can really confuse the automatic Fade Out settings.)
