Sure looks different from 1954 when I visited Ogunquit. Back then it was a little fishing village with one small restaurant that served lobster for breakfast for $1.50. Did you do this video Ron?
Nice job, nice sunrise.

Ron this looks really cool. Did you record this with your new drone? I like it.

Sunrise in Ogunquit, Maine

Postby Dave McElderry » Tue Dec 22, 2020 2:26 pm

Wow, beautiful Ron! I especially liked the sunrise shots. Do you have any fears of damaging the camera sensor, pointing directly at the sun? I know a lot of people do it; maybe I'm just worried about nothing. The music was a good match, too. Never been to Maine. Most all that I know of it is from watching North Woods Law. Moose on the loose! :TU:

The video is so steady, and I love the ending of you both walking down the wooden path.

Thanks, everyone! That was actually recorded back in the middle of November. I got a lot of nice shots that morning. There's something truly mesmerizing watching the surf from above.

It's a nice, newfound hobby, unfortunately, the weather (as well as my work schedule) lately hasn't been conducive for flying here in Maine. It's either too cold, windy or just plain dreary. More to come soon, hopefully ... and I hope to see more of the "squad's" footage !! I think we could learn a lot from each other.

-Ron

Isn't that the way it always is?? Just when you are ready to fly there are all the "outside" elements that keep saying .... not today.
