Morning Surf

A really nice day so I headed to the ocean in the morning to watch the local surfers try to surf.

The ocean is such a nice distraction from day to day. I am just real leery about flying too far over the ocean ... lol

Beautiful! Impressive stuff. How hard is it to find a large colony of surfers in their native habitat? And yes, a perfect choice of music, too. I especially liked the sun's reflection on the water. :TU:

Thank you for the kind words.

I ended up going with a friend to fly drones and he used to surf a lot so he knew where the spots were. We were in a town called Capitola which is a popular surf town. My drone did not show it but up the coast there was just as many surfers at another beach. I have never seen that many gathered in person. Sunday there was a King tide (A king tide is an especially high tide) and there was not too many waves but it sure looked like they were having fun.

The sun was so bright reflecting off the ocean it was hard to position the shot and I was nervous about flying out too far. But I think the water looked really cool.

For some reason I just can't get that one to play. Vimeo loading indicator just spins and spins for minutes. Looking at the resolution choices I note that it does not go lower than 540p so that may be the cause. Very slow DSL here in the woods.
