The Cream City skyline

Talk about the advent of Drone photography and video.

The Cream City skyline

Postby Steve Grisetti » Mon Sep 28, 2020 6:53 am

I know this isn't remotely in the Sidd Finch category, but I finally got bold enough to send my little Hubsan drone out over Lake Michigan yesterday.

The drone performed very well, even in a light wind. But boy you can be sure that I brought it in as soon as I got my first Low Battery warning!

Steve you are a braver man than I. My drone must be part feline as water is a deterrent for me. So cool to see you are embarking on drone adventures. I look forward to see some more of your work from behind the "cheese curtain" .... lol

The one disadvantage to my drone is that the camera is locked in position. Unlike with higher end drones that have a separate camera position control, mine pretty much shoots where the drone is pointed. My video looks pretty wobbly.

I'm learning to work within that limitation, so I'll post something at some point soon.

Steve you could always try the Shake Stabilizer to smooth shaky video footage in Premiere Elements. I forgot to ask, what Hubson model do you have?
