Welcome to a new Muvipix Subject category. Drones - Photo/Video

I am looking forward to reading about some cool new stories as they relate to drone photography. Thanks RSC (Ron, Steve, & Chuck)

While I don't have one, and don't plan on getting one [Yes, I said the same thing about widescreen TV  ] , I think it's great to have a dedicated forum for drones.

Thanks Chuck :)

But if memory serves I think Paz and Steve also have a drone too. Might be time for them to break it out of the mothballs and give them a fly-by.

Your videos humble me, Sidd. My drone is a fun toy, but I'm always afraid I'll lose it in a gust of wind.

When I was in the park the other day, I met a man who had this gorgeous DJIA drone with remote camera. From his location, he was able to fly it beyond the tree line and get some amazing footage, following the Milwaukee River. When he wanted to retrieve it, he just tapped the Home button and it found its way home.

I was inspired -- but not enough to invest $1000+ in one of my own.

Still, I ought to get my little quad out and turn it loose in the park. Or maybe get some nice footage of the neighborhood while the weather is still nice.

Steve I agree on the $1000 too. That is too rich for my blood. But it would still be cool to see some of your high flying from Milwaukee.
