Premier Elements 15 - Washed out video

Postby mor2t » Wed Oct 28, 2020 8:45 am

Hi,

I have Prem Elements 15. I use a Microsoft windows 10 computer home. When I export my video, it is washed out. How can I fix this issue?

Thank you.

It appears, that if I play the video on Windows media player, it is washed out. But, If I play the video on Real Player, then it looks fine. Not sure why that is. Any comments on this issue?

Try it on VLC Media Player, the only media player I really trust.

If it's washed out there, post a screen shot of what the video looks like on this forum. We'll look into your original video's specs and figure out what's happening. There's certainly nothing in Premiere Elements that universally creates washed out video.

Hi,

I tried it on VLC player and it looks fine. So, VLC and Real player are good...So, not sure what is going on with the Windows Media Player....

I don't know why Windows Media Player doesn't do the job here. But no doubt if you upload your movie to YouTube it will play fine on any computer.
