Keyframing

Postby skiinglen » Thu Mar 15, 2018 10:25 pm

HI,
I am a newbie ... and I am using Steve Grisetti's guide to Premiere elements 15.
My issue is that Steve says that to get key framing going I go to applied effects>motion for example.
I then click on the toggle animation clock and (bingo) up pops the keyframing box.

EXCEPT IT DOESN'T!

HELP

I have rebooted the computer; used another file; everything that I can think of ... but no keyframing.

There are actually 3 different animation clock toggles involved. See the screen captures below. #1 is, I'm guessing, the one which you've clicked on with no apparent results. It enables animation, but doesn't actually show the keyframe controls. Instead, click on #2, which is the show/hide keyframe controls. Once you've done that you should see the expanded control box. At that point note the additional toggles along the far left side (#3). These can be used to toggle on and off individual effect such as position and scale.
