Redundant Rendering?

Redundant Rendering? When I render my video (yellow line to green) then export to a video file, the software tells me it is rendering again while it is saving to whatever video format chosen. Is this rendering redundant? Was the first rendering necessary if I am not having any viewing issues while creating?
Re: Redundant Rendering? The rendering you do of your timeline is solely to allow you preview your timeline playback more smoothly. It has nothing to do with the rendering the program does to output your final video.
