Fix default settings

Postby davecvis@aol.com » Sun Feb 25, 2018 3:46 pm

Can the default settings in Shake Reduction/Advanced (50% & 50%) be changed for 'smoothness' and 'crop vs smoothness?' The book recommends 10 - 15 % and after a lot of trial tend to agree that works pretty good, at least for the work I'm doing with very old/scanned 16mm film. It's a hassle to drop it from 50 to 15 (x2) every time for every clip.

Also, the sensitivity of the scale makes it hard with a trackball/mouse to nail in a specific number -- is there a trick to this? Thanks!

I know of no way to change the default settings for Shake Reduction, Dave.

Have you tried manually typing in the setting number?

Now why didn't I think of that? So simple. Yes, if you place the cursor over the % number you can type it in. Thank you.
