Media Analyzer PSE/PrE 15 vs 14

Postby ABWay » Thu Nov 03, 2016 10:06 am

Does the Media Analyzer in PSE/PrE 15 create metadata that differ from PSE/PrE 14?
I have a very large number or photos and videos that have been Auto Analyzed in PSE/PrE 14 so do I need to re-analyze in PSE/PrE15?

I just remembered that Auto-Analysis only applies to video in PrE not to photos in PSE, but my question remains the same.

My initial guess is that it will auto analyze the same clip over again in every project it is added to, but not really sure. Maybe someone has a definite answer.

Elements Organizer 15 includes some more advanced Smart Tagging than previous versions -- but they shouldn't take up significant room on your hard drive and you shouldn't even notice the auto analyzing (at least once the program creates its initial catalog).

Thanks. I'll try re-analyzing the content of an ongoing project and see what happens.
