Whoa! SureThing 5.0.552.0 CD/DVD Labeller

Postby George Tyndall » Wed Jul 07, 2010 5:49 am

I've been using iTunes to burn and to print the jackets for music CDs, but now I need a software that will allow me to burn both Lightscribe DVDs and matching jewel case inserts.

I'm very impressed with the 15-day trial vesion of SureThing5 that I've just used to create the inserts using a still that I exported from one of the clips on the PRE7 timeline.

Here is a screen shot which depicts the many various capabilties.

Very nice find, George!

It's also worth noting that Photoshop Elements also includes templates for creating disc labels and printing both large DVD boxes and CD jewel boxes.

I've been using PSE for my DVD jackets until now, and they are VERY impressive, but in this particular instance I needed a software that would make Lightscribe DVD labels plus a jewel case with a similar theme (I'm packaging the DVDs in jewel cases rather than DVD cases for this project).

I still haven't decided whether I will spend $20 for the software, but it seems likely.

Chuck, I've been using SureThing2 for creating LightScribe labels for years with excellent results on my XP machines (albeit with limited capability), but this was the first time I'd tried the version for Win7. SureThing5 is a whole different ballgame from 2.
