Panos Effects for stills .. and video

Postby Jayell » Thu Oct 29, 2009 12:59 pm

There’ve been a couple discussions here on some of the Panos Effects for Photoshop & Elements, so thought I’d put together a little video to display a few more of them for those that might be interested. Some are free .. some are paid for .. as indicated.

Most of these can be accomplished with a couple clicks of the mouse, although many also allow lots of options to tweak along the way. In most cases the background is white (with the exception of Reflections, Snowglobe, and Big Blue). I’ve added backgrounds as a separate step. These are r-e-a-l-l-y fun to play with !!

That was great Jayell! Creative out of borders, liked the car one and the tennis one best. Is the film strip free?

No, Cheryl, the filmstrip is one of the for pay ones, but I really like it! You can have 1-3 negatives on it .. do it with the negatives bent or flat .. positioned landscape or portrait .. black or that tannish colors with the black print coding on it to make it look 'real.' I could sit and play with this stuff all day :-D

The fan is pretty cool. We did some stuff with the snow globe a few years ago, even made it snow inside the globe :)
The out of bounds are great, I love the Photoshop Elements Actions that Bob donated to us that create that effect. it helps if you have images that work well with the effect.

Border and Bend is very cool, so it the Reflections effect.
All of those effects are really great considering they are free :)

Out of the paid ones I really like the Puzzle, and the filmstrip.

Great video, they really come alive when you add video - Very Nice !! :TU:
