Re: Jog Wheel?Thanks Sidd,
I do use the arrow keys but prefer using a jog wheel. I know it does the same job as the arrow keys but the feel is very different. Just wondered if there was one I could use with PRE 14. Cheers John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Jog Wheel?Jog/shuttle wheel devices do exist -- Here's one from Contour, for example. I'm not sure how compatible they are with Premiere Elements though. These are generally used with the Pro versions of editing software.
I have a Wacom Intuos tablet with a touch wheel that can be programmed to act as a jog/shuttle wheel. Works great with Premiere Pro. I'm not sure if Premiere Elements 14 will work with it though. Earlier Elements versions did have problems. The shuttle function did not work with Premiere Elements 7, for example.
Re: Jog Wheel?Thanks Bob
I've found some reviews and links to the Contour Jog Wheel and it appears it is compatible with PRE14. They're not too expensive so will chance it. Will put a review on here in case it helps someone else. Regards John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Jog Wheel?Sounds good!
Looking forward to your review.
Re: Jog Wheel?Update:
Contour ShuttleXpress arrived today. Plugged into USB port and loaded software. Opened a project to test it - and amazingly - it worked straight out of the box with PRE14 and Win 10. Only a quick test but I'm sure it will speed up my workflow and more is in keeping with the way I like to navigate the timeline. Other buttons are pre-programmed for other regular functions. The jog wheel in the centre is a bit smaller than I would prefer but it's fine for now. May look to a higher quality one later but this one was under £30 from Amazon. The silver one is cheaper than the black model but they both appear to be the same otherwise. Thanks to all for your help.... John [1] Sony RX100 M6 (PAL)

Re: Jog Wheel?Great news, John! Thanks for reporting your success!

Re: Jog Wheel?I've been wondering the same thing about Sony Vegas. My workflow with keyboard shortcuts isn't necessarily slow by any means, but I know it can be so much better. I'd love to have an old-school style, desktop-sized mixing board with jog wheels and programmable buttons if I could do it.
